Minister of National Development Planning/Head of the National Development Planning Agency Rachmat Pambudy said that his party's collaboration with PT Moosa Genetika Farmindo and the Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB) has opened a new revolution in developing national dairy cattle based on genetic capabilities.
"The launch of the Red and White Cattle this morning will be an opportunity to open a new revolution in developing dairy cattle based on the genetic capabilities of experts in Indonesia," he said at the Red and White Cattle Launch event at Lapangan Banteng, Jakarta, Friday.
Red and White Cattle is a genetic improvement program designed to strengthen the Indonesian dairy cattle industry with a focus on smallholder farming systems.
The Minister of National Development Planning/Head of Bappenas initiated this program, considering that he is also an academic in the field of agribusiness and a professor at IPB.
