The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame announced the list of basketball legends who will be presenters for the members of the Class of 2025, at the Enshrinement Ceremony scheduled for Saturday, September 6, 2025.
On the NBA website quoted in Jakarta, Friday, the activity is planned to be held at Symphony Hall, Springfield, Massachusetts, United States, because Springfield is known as the birthplace of basketball.
More than 50 Hall of Fame members are expected to attend the event, with 23 of them serving as presenters.
Each member of the Class of 2025 was given the opportunity to choose a previously inducted Hall of Fame member to introduce them on stage.
The decision is entirely up to the new members or their families, if the award is given posthumously.
One of the special moments at this year's inauguration will be the presence of the 2008 United States men's national basketball team (timnas), which will be introduced by members of that team, as they have previously been inducted into the Hall of Fame.
The Hall of Fame induction ceremony is one of the most prestigious annual events in the world of basketball.
The event is a stage to honor players, coaches, referees, and figures who have made extraordinary contributions to the development of the sport.
This year, the presence of a line-up of big names like Carmelo Anthony, Sue Bird, Dwight Howard, and Maya Moore, is sure to add to the appeal, as well as being a historic moment for basketball fans around the world.
