Tijuana, May 2.- From Sunday, April 28th to Tuesday, April 30th, the CASE (Council for Advancement and Support of Education) Latin America 2024 Congress was held within the framework of its 50th Anniversary. It was hosted at the CETYS University International Campus Ensenada, achieving a record attendance among rectors and directors of various universities, as well as those responsible for the areas of fundraising, institutional advancement, alumni and communication.
CASE is an international association whose goal is to foster the development of educational institutions around the world by training professionals in Institutional Advancement who work in the areas of alumni engagement, fundraising, communications, marketing, and institutional partnerships.
This year's edition coincided with its fiftieth anniversary, kicking off with the talk "CASE: 50 Years of the Institutional Advancement Profession," in which Sue Cunningham, CEO and Global President; Fernando León, Rector of the CETYS University System; Jim Harris, Rector of the University of San Diego; and Martha Aguilar, Rector of the University of Celaya; shared their experiences and expectations regarding institutional advancement.
Donors
The rectors agreed on the importance of recognizing donors and partners as strategic allies, as well as the value of investing in institutional advancement and professionalization. They also highlighted the importance of adapting to new technologies, such as artificial intelligence, which can help identify donor profiles, references, and behavioral patterns.
