Former MotoGP world champion Casey Stoner said Marc Marquez is a big problem for all riders this season, including Francesco Bagnaia who is struggling to compete with his new teammate at the Ducati team.
Stoner said Marquez had found optimal performance on the Ducati, something no other rider could achieve at the moment.
"I think Marc is creating the same problems for everyone in the paddock right now. Not just Pecco," Stoner told Sky Italia on Monday.
The MotoGP legend believes Marquez's dominance throughout 2025 is not only a challenge, but also an opportunity for growth.
According to him, being in the same garage as a racer of Marquez's class could be a valuable experience for Bagnaia.
"I think this could be an advantage for Pecco, too. You always learn in your worst moments," Stoner said. "If he can absorb as much information as possible this year, it could be useful for next season."
