Tijuana, September 6 – On September 11 at 5:46 a.m., a moment of silence will be observed, including a brief pause in border crossing operations, to commemorate the 23rd anniversary of the attack on the Twin Towers, the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) San Diego Field Office announced.
The pause is to commemorate the 23rd anniversary of the victims of the September 11 attacks, and the following ports of entry will participate: San Ysidro, Otay Mesa, Tecate, Calexico East and West, and Andrade.
The moment of silence is dedicated to remembering and honoring those who tragically lost their lives on September 11, 2001. Normal traffic operations will resume immediately following the brief ceremony.
