Mexico City, January 1.- President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo expressed her condemnation this Wednesday of the mass shooting in New Orleans that left ten dead.
"We condemn the attack that occurred today in New Orleans," the president said on the X platform.
“Our solidarity with the families of the victims and with the people of the United States,” Sheinbaum Pardo added.

So far, 11 people have died in New Orleans' French Quarter after a van crashed into a New Year's celebration. The target and identity of the attacker are unknown. However, U.S. officials have assured international media that the van was flying an Islamic State flag, and they are investigating possible links to terrorist groups.
According to unofficial information, the perpetrator of the attack exchanged bullets with security personnel after attempting to flee and was shot down a few blocks away from the attack.
