Covid-19 booster application for the education sector begins on Monday

 

Mexicali, December 10.- Starting next Monday, December 13, in mass vaccinations in Mexicali, Tijuana, and Ensenada, vaccination against Covid-19 will be reinforced for the entire teaching sector in Baja California.

J. Adrián Medina Amarillas, Secretary of Health in the State, confirmed that they will be given the AstraZeneca vaccine.

The mass vaccination sites will be announced next Sunday by the Ministry of Health, through the agency's official social media channels and through the media.

All teaching staff , teachers, administrators, managers, and those working in other areas of the education sector will be able to come and receive the third dose .

The only requirements you'll be asked for are your INE (National Institute of Statistics), a teacher ID, and preferably a printed federal form to expedite application times.

"All education workers will benefit from this reinforcement," said Medina Amarillas.

Gerardo Arturo Solís Benavides, head of the Ministry of Education , stated that the implementation of the vaccination booster will strengthen the health protection of all teaching and administrative staff in order to be able to return to in-person classes starting January 4, 2022.

He emphasized that it was at the request of the teaching profession itself that the process to obtain this reinforcement was initiated.
