Tijuana, June 2.- The state's Secretary of Health, Alonso Pérez Rico, announced that vaccinations for people ages 40 to 49 could begin between Thursday and Friday in Tijuana.
Pérez Rico emphasized that vaccinations for those over 40 will begin when the federal government sends a new batch of vaccines to the state.
The Health Minister said that this Wednesday, around 400 doses of the COVID vaccine will be administered to private doctors at the Tijuana General Hospital.
He also confirmed that the Covid vaccination centers will be suspended next Sunday, June 6, due to the ongoing voting, as announced by Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
