The dragon boat team is adapting the boats that will be used in competitions ahead of the 2025 World Games international multi-sport championship in Chengdu, China.
Dragon boat team coach Suryadi said the athletes in the Open category (10 crews consisting of one drummer, one helmsman, and eight rowers) faced challenges upon their arrival in Chengdu on Wednesday (6/8) evening.
"We have to adapt quickly because we've only been adapting to this type of boat for two days," Suryadi told ANTARA via instant message on Friday.
Meanwhile, Suryadi said the boat used by the Mix category team (12 crew consisting of one drummer, one helmsman, and 10 rowers) was the same as the one used during training, so there was no difficulty in adapting.
