Mexico City, July 13.- In separate operations, Army personnel seized a tractor-trailer containing methamphetamine, cocaine, and fentanyl traveling through Sonora and destroyed two clandestine laboratories in Sinaloa.
The vehicle was intercepted last Monday when the Ministry of National Defense (Sedena), through investigative work, learned of the drug shipment. It alerted its personnel in the area, who directed the traffic to the Strategic Security Military Post "Cucapah," where the drugs were detected using a gamma ray machine.
Among the items found were 203 kilograms of methamphetamine, 8 kilograms of cocaine, and 3 kilograms of fentanyl.
The drugs, the vehicle, and its two occupants were presented to civil authorities to initiate the corresponding investigation.
