PSSI Chairman Erick Thohir expressed his pride in the growing presence of the Indonesian National Dispute Resolution Chamber (NDRC), a national dispute resolution institution that is part of the national football ecosystem.
"We should be proud of the recognition of the Indonesian NDRC. There are only five in the world. And in Asia, we are the only one. The NDRC will promote transparency, checks and balances . We hope that every NDRC decision will be complied with by both clubs and players for the sustainability of the national football ecosystem. We are ready to ensure our football climate becomes healthier and more professional," said Thohir at a press conference at the Fairmont Hotel, Jakarta, Wednesday.
Since receiving FIFA recognition in 2023, the Indonesian NDRC has become a dispute resolution platform for national professional footballers and clubs. In its two years of existence, the NDRC has handled over 200 cases, the majority of which involve unpaid player salaries by clubs.
This institution is the PSSI arbitration body to resolve disputes in the world of football, especially between clubs and players or coaches, as well as disputes between clubs and football schools.
