Governor highlights social support during event at Esperanto Park

Tijuana, July 20.— As part of a territorial government in service to the people, the Day with the Heart Ahead event was held in Esperanto Park. Governor Marina del Pilar Avila Olmeda led the event, highlighting the various state social programs and those coordinated with the government of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

"Love is repaid with love, and that's why we are the government with the most support and welfare programs in the history of Baja California. No other government has ever provided cards for single mothers, heads of households, the Violet Card," the governor of Baja California emphasized.

The governor highlighted that Baja California was the first state to sign an agreement with President López Obrador's government to support people with disabilities, in line with one of the maxims of the Fourth Transformation: prioritizing the most vulnerable groups.

Priorities

Among this administration's priorities is guaranteeing everyone's right to water, which is why Marina del Pilar mentioned the existence of the Heart for Water card. Thus, investments are being made like never before to ensure that water rationing is eliminated in Tijuana and Rosarito, while also working to introduce water and sewage services to the most marginalized and impoverished neighborhoods.
