San Quintín, August 18. Governor Marina del Pilar Avila Olmeda led a meeting with communities in the deep south of Baja California, where she inaugurated the Punta Arena Wine Hotel in Bahía de los Ángeles and provided livestock and rural support in Villa de Jesús María.
In Villa de Jesús María, the state leader held a meeting with ranchers and oversaw the progress of agricultural programs and led the delivery of supplies to strengthen productive activity.
The Secretary of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mónica Vargas Núñez, reported that from 2022 to 2025, the State Government channeled more than 8.3 million pesos in support to the southern region through programs for family farms, livestock and agricultural strengthening, livestock insurance, family gardens, and loans from the Complementary Guarantee Fund and Bridge Loans (Fogabac).
During the meeting with the governor, 1,800 bales of Klein grass were delivered to 170 ranchers from the Punta Prieta, Bahía de los Ángeles, Juárez, Morelos, Nuevo Rosarito, and Villa Jesús María ejidos. In addition, 510,000 pesos were allocated to 13 producers through the livestock equipment and infrastructure program.

The governor led the opening of the Punta Arena Wine Hotel , a boutique accommodation. Owner Raudel Ríos Cárdenas was present at the ceremony and accompanied the governor on a tour of the facilities.
The state leader held a meeting with residents and service providers, accompanied by the State Secretary of Tourism, Zaida Luz López Sánchez.
“We listened to the residents of Bahía de Los Ángeles to work firsthand to strengthen their community, regularize their lands , ensure security, improve health, and make this beautiful corner of our state a place of greater well-being, opportunity, and shared prosperity,” said Avila Olmeda.
