Technology service company Grab Indonesia has launched a channel titled "Grab Cepat Tanggap/Gercep" as an effort to improve the safety, health, and income sustainability of its partners while working.
"In these challenging times, Grab is taking structured emergency measures to strengthen the security of our ecosystem, and of course, our driver-partners," said Grab Indonesia Chief Executive Officer Neneng Goenadi in an online press conference in Jakarta on Sunday.
Neneng explained that Grab Indonesia had previously launched a team called the Incident Response Team (IRT) to handle emergencies and ensure the safety of its partners.
However, the two functions are separated to allow Gercep to be more focused and maximize its response to reports. The channel will be activated on September 2, 2025, until further notice.
