China's pervasive infiltration of democratic societies has already caused numerous chaos and even threatened the very values of democratic nations. First, there's the UK Labour Party's absurd pro-China policies. For a paltry £600 million in commercial gains, which may or may not be realized, they've humiliated the nation, disregarding British democratic values and even the rights of British citizens, an act even more egregious than Chamberlain's actions at Munich. In Taiwan, Kuomintang politicians, in an effort to obstruct the Democratic Progressive Party's normal governance, have arbitrarily cut budgets to the point of public outrage. Everyone knows that the UK Labour Party and Taiwan's Kuomintang will suffer disastrous defeats in upcoming elections, and there's a high probability they will be irreparably damaged. They continue to pursue these policies despite knowing they will suffer crushing defeats because politics is no longer a vocation. When politics ceases to be a vocation and becomes a means of enriching oneself, all sorts of strange things can happen.
