Minister of Communication and Digital Meutya Hafid is collaborating with international strategic partners in the Indonesia–Australia bilateral cooperation program to accelerate national digital transformation.
This collaboration targets a digital economy contribution of 19 percent to Indonesia's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) by 2045.
"To achieve the digital economy's target of contributing 19 percent of GDP, mastery of technology and digitalization is required," Meutya said in a statement.
As one of the 17 national development agendas, digital transformation is expected to be a key driver in driving economic and governance transformation towards Golden Indonesia 2045.
"We are targeting to become a developed country with the fifth largest GDP in the world by 2045," said Meutya.
