Telkomsel's social program wins international award from Gartner




Telkomsel's social programs, namely "Super Fun School Donation" and "Shoe Donation for Students in Papua" have recorded international achievements with awards in the Reputation Management Excellence category from the Gartner Marketing & Communications Awards 2025.

This global appreciation emphasizes Telkomsel's success in managing the company's reputation through the Telkomsel Sambungkan Senyuman social initiative, outperforming three finalists, renowned multinational companies from Saudi Arabia, the United States, and Canada.

The Gartner Marketing & Communications Awards, held annually by technology research and consulting firm Gartner, has become a benchmark for the effectiveness of cross-industry marketing and communication strategies globally.

In the Reputation Management Excellence category, two programs from the Telkomsel Connect Smiles initiative, namely the Super Fun School Donation and Shoe Donation for Students in Papua, were deemed successful in increasing equal access to education while strengthening active customer involvement in social actions that have a real impact.

The Gartner judges assessed that Telkomsel's Connect Smiles initiative was able to align Telkomsel's business objectives with sincere and authentic social contributions.

Telkomsel Connect Smiles itself is a collaborative philanthropic initiative that involves customers and employees in various real actions to bring goodness to people in need.

Under the umbrella of this initiative, Telkomsel presents various social programs, one of which is the Super Fun School Donation which sets aside IDR 1,000 from every customer transaction to build and renovate dozens of classrooms in remote schools.

This program has successfully addressed the challenges of educational infrastructure in various regions in Indonesia, as evidenced by more than 2 million customer transactions that generated donations of more than IDR 2 billion in just two weeks since the program was launched.
