Mexicali, October 24. Judge Alejandro Isaac Fragozo López, president of the State Superior Court of Justice (TSJE), delivered his third and final government report as head of the judiciary.
Accompanied by Governor Marina del Pilar Avila Olmeda and the president of the board of directors of the State Congress, Manuel Guerrero Luna, he explained that this year marked the end of the period of expansion and strengthening of family justice.
The judge noted that the family courts in Playas de Rosarito and Tecate, as well as two newly created courts in Tijuana, were inaugurated.
Among the achievements of his administration, he mentioned the laying of the foundation stones for the cadaver shelters in Mexicali and Tijuana.
Regarding the budget, he said it was increased from one million to one billion 615 million pesos during his three years in office.
He stated that the solemn plenary session will be held on November 1st, where the president of the TSJE will be chosen.
When asked about his reelection, he said he's considering consolidating some projects, but the decision will be made in plenary session.
