The ministry said in a statement that these practices represent a "flagrant violation of international and humanitarian laws, particularly agreements protecting education," stressing that they fall within a "systematic policy of targeting educational institutions and instilling fear among students and teaching staff."
The ministry called on local and international human rights and humanitarian organizations to urgently intervene to halt these violations, ensure the protection of schools, students, and teachers, and hold the occupation accountable for "ongoing crimes against Palestinian education."
In the same context, the official Palestinian news agency, WAFA, reported that the occupation forces seized photos and textbooks from schools during the raids.

In parallel with the genocidal war in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation army and settlers escalated their attacks in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, killing at least 1,016 Palestinians, wounding nearly 7,000 others, and arresting more than 18,500, according to Palestinian data.
With American support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, including killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring all international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to halt the operation.
The genocide left 62,966 Palestinians dead and 159,266 injured, most of them children and women. More than 9,000 people were missing, hundreds of thousands were displaced, and a famine killed 317 Palestinians, including 121 children.
