Former West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil admitted to being asked 12 questions about the results of a DNA test when questioned by investigators from the National Police's Criminal Investigation Unit regarding the report he filed regarding alleged defamation against celebrity Lisa Mariana.
"I fulfilled my obligation, as invited by the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency to finalize the report we submitted. There were approximately 12 questions. The majority of them concerned the DNA test results," he said at the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency.
Ridwan revealed that during the examination, he was shown the DNA results that he had done with Lisa Mariana and CA, Lisa's daughter.
According to him, the DNA test results which showed that CA had no biological relationship with him further strengthened his party's rebuttal argument against Lisa Mariana's accusation that CA was her biological daughter.
"Their genetics aren't even remotely identical, right? So the root of all this is an accusation that's not based on evidence. That's why we filed a defamation report," he said.
Regarding the further legal process, Ridwan stated that he respects the steps taken by investigators later.
Meanwhile, the Head of Sub-Directorate 1 of the Cyber Crimes Directorate of the Indonesian National Police Criminal Investigation Agency, Senior Commissioner Rizki Agung Prakoso, said that investigators would also question Lisa Mariana next week regarding the DNA test results.
