Jafar/Felisha end Serbia's doubles resistance in the round of 32

Indonesian mixed doubles pair Jafar Hidayatullah/Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu defeated Serbian pair Mihaljo Tomic/Andjela Vitman in straight games 21-19, 22-20 in the round of 32 of the 2025 World Championships held at the Adidas Arena in Paris.

Jafar revealed that even though he had won, he could not feel comfortable because he often made his own mistakes that benefited his opponent.

"Today's game was still uncomfortable, still very poor, and there were still a lot of unforced errors. With Tomic, we often gave cross balls that often made me feel awkward," said Jafar, as quoted by PBSI.

"So, at that critical point, we tried to attack more, and when we got long balls, we just let Felisha play them. I was the one controlling from the back," he said.
