Celebrity El Rumi remains confident that he can beat his opponent Jefri Nichol because he has superior stamina in the Superstar Knockout King of The Ring which will be held at JCC Senayan.
"Nichol was only strong for two rounds. Sorry, only rounds 3, 4, and 5," said El Rumi at a press conference in Jakarta on Friday.
Previously, Jefri Nichol and El Rumi had a boxing match which was won by the son of musician Ahmad Dhani in 2023. El Rumi won by points from Jefri Nichol.
In the match, Jefri Nichol seemed to run out of energy in the final round, which then made him the target of El Rumi's punches, although he didn't get knocked out.
Nichol also admitted that his weaknesses in the first match were stamina and uncontrolled emotions. Therefore, Nichol prepared himself by quitting smoking and drinking alcohol in April 2025.
