Samsung's first tri-folding smartphone, the Galaxy Z TriFold, is rumored to focus on the productivity and multitasking needs of its users.

Unlike the Galaxy Z Fold7, which forces two apps to occupy a quarter of the screen, the Split Trio design on Samsung's tri-folding phone is said to allow users to run three full-screen apps side-by-side. Each app can function as if it were on a single screen.
