Malut United coach Hendri Susilo has asked for prayers from the people of North Maluku so that Malut United can get full points at home in the second week of the 2025-2026 Super League which will take place at Gelora Kieraha Stadium.
"We can't be complacent. Every match presents a different challenge. I ask for the prayers and support of the people of North Maluku so we can get three points at home," said Hendri during a press conference ahead of the match against Bali United in Ternate on Thursday.
Malut United are preparing for a crucial home match after previously securing a 3-1 victory at Dewa United's headquarters.
Coach Hendri Susilo reminded all players not to get carried away by the euphoria of the victory and to stay focused on the next match.
Hendri acknowledged that there are a number of opposing players who will be of particular concern, especially from the Bali-based team.
"There are several standout players we'll be anticipating. They have quality, so we have to be vigilant," he said.
