Marina del Pilar promotes the strengthening of civil society organizations with social support

Mexicali, July 5 – Registration has begun for the 2025 Call for Proposals for the Civil Society Organization Support Program, an initiative that promotes the work of those who accompany and serve people in vulnerable situations, announced Governor Marina del Pilar Avila Olmeda.

"We are taking concrete steps to strengthen the development of our communities and support those whose efforts transform the lives of Baja Californians who need it most. Their work deserves support and all the backing possible," the governor said.

To participate, she added, it is a requirement to be part of the 2025 State Catalog of civil society organizations and prove that they work for the well-being of women in vulnerable situations, girls, boys, adolescents, the elderly, indigenous peoples, people with disabilities, or people on the move; or to promote education, health, sports, culture, community development, or addiction prevention.

Interest

Interested organizations have until July 21, 2025, to register. Once received, the proposals will be reviewed by a Review Committee, which will select those that meet the established requirements, added the Secretary of Welfare, Netzahualcóyotl Jáuregui Santillán.
