Persijap Jepara coach Mario Lemos confirmed that his team is ready to face Persib Bandung in the second week of the BRI Super League at Gelora Bumi Kartini Stadium, Jepara, Monday night.
Quoted from the official I.League website, Mario Lemos ensured that Persijap Jepara would not be afraid of facing the big and flashy name of Persib Bandung.
"We've completed our preparations for the match against PSM Makassar. With about two months of pre-season training under our belt, we're ready for tomorrow's match against Persib. Many supporters will be coming to watch, and we'll prove our worth tomorrow," said Mario Lemos.
The Portuguese coach explained that Persijap Jepara had positive capital after getting one point the previous week after visiting PSM Makassar's headquarters.
According to Mario Lemos, the draw gave the Persijap Jepara squad confidence and his players were ready to work hard until the final minute against Persib Bandung.
Regarding Persib Bandung's strength, Mario Lemos explained that Persib Bandung has good players, but Persijap Jepara is ready to secure victory in the upcoming match.
"We know our opponents have 11 good players. We've prepared for tomorrow. We trust our players, including the foreign players, to put up a tough fight," said Mario Lemos.
