Midtrans shares tips to prevent the threat of online transaction crime




The increase in digital transactions in recent years has been accompanied by cyber threats that have caused financial losses for users.

A report from the National Cyber and Crypto Agency regarding the cybersecurity landscape in Indonesia noted that in 2024 there were 330.5 million network/communication traffic anomalies in Indonesia, 24.5 percent of which were malware cyber attacks .

One cybercrime threat is Infostealer malware , which can infiltrate devices when users unknowingly download malware through phishing emails or software from suspicious websites. As a result, customer and business account data can be stolen, leading to financial losses.
