Modernization of the El Gallo interchange has reached 35% completion: Ayala

Ensenada, August 28.- During a tour of the area accompanied by Governor Jaime Bonilla Valdez , Mayor Armando Ayala Robles reported that the modernization of the El Gallo road junction has an overall progress of 35 percent , although this week it suffered a slight delay due to unforeseen events related to the detection of pipes for drinking water and drainage networks not contemplated in the initial project.

The mayor of Ensenada emphasized that his administration is contributing to the daily actions carried out in the area, as the goal is to improve urban mobility in the municipality and ensure that, in due course, the population can benefit from this project.

Ayala Robles asked for the public's understanding, as the closure of the access gates to Reforma Street and Esmeralda Boulevard has caused traffic jams trying to cross from one end of the city to the other.

"We ask for the public's patience. We know that travel times have been extended due to the closure of the access points, but it is part of the sacrifice we must make to be able to use this interchange in a few months, which will undoubtedly improve urban mobility in Ensenada," said the mayor.
