Monreal files a complaint against Sansores before the Attorney General's Office for spreading messages

 

Mexico City, October 28.- Senator Ricardo Monreal Ávila, president of the Political Coordination Board (Jucopo) in the Senate of the Republic, reported to the Attorney General's Office (FGR) the governor of Campeche, Layda Sansores, and requested that she be investigated and brought to trial for her alleged responsibility in the crimes of illegal intervention of private communications, the dissemination of illegally obtained conversations, and embezzlement by using public media to disclose the content of text messages.

The legislator and Morena activist stated that this is not a political issue, but a legal one, and that the governor must be punished "there is no way she can escape," noting that she presented evidence "that is public" of the commission of the aforementioned crimes.

Monreal Ávila stated that he will not stop legal action against Layda Sansores, also a member of Morena, who recently broadcast screenshots of WhatsApp messages on state media via her program "La Hora del Jaguar," in which Ricardo Monreal allegedly had political dealings with the PRI's national leader, Alejandro Moreno.

In this regard, Monreal stated that the content disseminated was faked, that things were falsified, and he denied having made a deal with Alejandro Moreno.
