Nvidia again recorded sales growth in its second-quarter 2025 performance report, posting revenue of US$46.7 billion, a 56 percent increase compared to the same period last year.
As reported by Tech Crunch on Thursday, this growth was primarily driven by the artificial intelligence (AI)-based data center business, which contributed US$41.1 billion, a 56 percent year-on-year increase. Of that figure, US$27 billion came from sales of the latest generation of Blackwell chips.
The company's net profit also rose sharply to US$26.4 billion, up 59 percent compared to last year.
"Blackwell is the AI platform the world has been waiting for. The AI race is on, and Blackwell is at the center of it," said Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang.
