Persib Bandung officially introduced Indonesian national team midfielder Thom Haye as a new recruit for the 2025/2026 season.
Deputy CEO of PT Persib Bandung Bermartabat Adhitia Putra Herawan said that Haye's recruitment was a strategic step to maintain the balance of Maung Bandung's midfield.
"We believe that Thom Haye's quality and experience will be an important addition to PERSIB's ambitions," said Adhitia in Bandung on Wednesday.
The player, born in Amsterdam on February 9, 1995, was contracted for two years and immediately joined the team's preparations for the Super League and AFC Champions League 2.
Adhitia confirmed that Thom Haye's arrival was immediately recommended by coach Bojan Hodak. The former Dutch Eredivisie player was deemed to fit the team's needs, particularly due to his ability to maintain the rhythm of play.
