Indonesian mixed doubles badminton player Pitha Haningtyas Mentari admitted she was motivated when she returned to the Adidas Arena in Paris, which will host the 2025 BWF World Championships.
The arena holds special significance for him as it was the venue for the 2024 Paris Olympics when he performed with Rinov Rivaldy.
"I'm grateful and happy to be back here. I'm definitely imagining the Olympic moments, what it was like to experience them. I want to take the positive aspects to further motivate me," Pitha said in an official statement after her first training session.
At the Paris Olympics, Pitha and Rinov competed as Indonesia's only mixed doubles team. Unfortunately, their progress was halted in the group stage, finishing fourth with one win and two losses.
Now Pitha and Rinov Rivaldy have undergone more thorough preparation to be able to give their best.
