The daughter of politician Andre Rosiade, Nurul Azizah Rosiade or Azizah Salsha, said she wanted to create a deterrent effect by reporting social media accounts that spread slander about her to the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency.
When met at the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit Building, Azizah said that she had forgiven the parties from the two social media accounts she reported, namely the TikTok account @ibaratbradpittt and the YouTube account @niceguymo.
However, he continued the legal process with the police to provide a deterrent effect.
"This time, I just want to give a deterrent effect because it's been going on like this for a year, and it still hasn't stopped," he said.
The wife of footballer Pratama Arhan also admitted that she was sad because the spread of slander regarding her continued to happen repeatedly.
"It's sad, of course, but we just have to live life," he said.
Regarding the narrative conveyed by the two accounts, Azizah confirmed that what was conveyed was slander.
Meanwhile, Azizah Salsha's attorney, Anindya Dipo Pratama, said that his client's family was furious about this slander.
"The family will definitely be furious. For the entire family, this is a matter of family pride and reputation," he said.
Therefore, Azizah and her family decided to continue the legal process to teach irresponsible parties a lesson.
"In the future, accounts and YouTubers will have to be more careful with their comments. They must verify the information with the individual before sharing it on social media," he said.
Meanwhile, Azizah and her attorney reported the two accounts under Article 45 paragraph (4) and (6) in conjunction with Article 27A of Law Number 1 of 2024 concerning the Second Amendment to Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions (ITE) and/or Article 310 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 311 of the Criminal Code.
The report has been received by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Indonesian National Police with the number LP/B/387/VIII/2025/SPKT/BARESKRIM POLRI.
