Representative Julia González presents the report of the third ordinary session


 Mexicali, July 30.- Representative Julia Andrea González Quiroz presented her report on the activities of the Third Constitutional Period at the closing session of the Board of Directors, during which she declared the Labor Justice System into effect and approved the State Development Plan.

During the legislator's presidency, more than 440 documents were processed, including communiqués, governing body agreements, initiatives, proposals, statements, and opinions, with the aim of promoting the participation of all deputies in legislative activity.

At the conclusion of the 12 plenary sessions, calls were issued for the appointment of Honorary Advisors to the Advisory Council of the Transparency Institute, as well as to the Consultative Body of the Local Search Commission.

Likewise, 82 opinions were approved by the Environment, Education, Oversight, Justice, and Economic Development Committees, and a total of 21 by the Finance and Budget Committee. The Equality Committee also approved its proposed reform to the Law to Prevent and Eradicate Discrimination, as well as the Criminal Code, to penalize Conversion Therapy for Sexual Orientation and/or Gender Identity.
