Tijuana, June 28.—More than 2,000 people attended the Wellness Macro Day in the 10 de Mayo neighborhood, Otay Centenario Delegation, this Saturday. Mayor Ismael Burgueño Ruiz led the event, as part of his administration's efforts to permanently bring services and programs closer to the communities.
At the "My Homeland Comes First" Elementary School, during the morning shift, the mayor took the opportunity to share with the public the work the 25th Tijuana City Council is doing to improve the area, such as: cleaning, installing lighting, scraping streets, patching, among other actions, in addition to referring to the business regularization program.
Burgueño Ruiz emphasized that all government initiatives benefit the people of Tijuana, and therefore invited them to tour the service modules installed by various municipal and parastatal agencies.
"We appreciate the support we've received from President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo and the teamwork with Governor Marina de Pilar Avila Olmeda. We continue to work together to make Tijuana the best city in the country," the mayor added.
