Samsung is developing a new camera technology called metalens, a new type of lens that could make future smartphones and XR headsets look slimmer without sacrificing performance.
this lens was developed by Samsung together with Pohang University of Science and Technology (Postech), the research results of which have been published in the journal Nature Communications.
Metalensa does not use curved lenses that are usually found on the market, this lens can control light using nanostructures that are thinner than a human hair.
