The Indonesian U-16 women's national team has qualified for the semifinals of the 2025 ASEAN Women's U-16 Championship to be played in Solo.
In the semifinals, Indonesia will face Australia, the inaugural champions of this tournament. The match will be played on Wednesday (August 26) at 7:30 p.m. WIB at Manahan Stadium in Solo.
The match between Indonesia and Australia is the second semifinal held on the same day after the match between Vietnam and the most successful team of this tournament with three titles, namely Thailand, in the afternoon at 3:30 p.m. WIB.
The PSSI has opened tickets for the semifinal match, with two ticket categories available. The cheapest ticket is Rp40,000 for Freeport Garuda East, while the other category, Mandiri Garuda West, is priced at Rp50,000.
Tickets for the semifinals opened on Monday and can be purchased at kitagaruda.id/ticket and at Livin by Mandiri.
Meanwhile, the coach of the Indonesian U-16 women's national team, Timo Scheunemann, assessed that Australia was a strong opponent in the semifinals, but Garuda Pertiwi Muda still had a chance to win.
Both teams have won two matches in the group stage, with Indonesia scoring nine goals and conceding one, while Australia scored five goals and conceded one.
"But if we can bring out our best, we have a chance. Even though our opponents are tough," Timo said at a pre-match press conference.
