Tijuana, April 4. The head of the Ministry of Culture, Alma Delia Ábrego Ceballos , who also graduated with a degree in Communication from the Universidad Iberoamericana (Ibero) Tijuana, visited her alma mater, where she held a dialogue with students, met with university authorities, and toured the Sagrado Corazón de Jesús Community Center.
The educational institution also awarded him the “ World Makers ” recognition for his professional career and his contribution to the art and culture of the region.
Ábrego Ceballos emphasized the importance of cultural promotion in various sectors of society, seeking to improve living conditions.
A working meeting was also held with the Secretary of Culture to discuss the City Theater, a project that seeks to rehabilitate a space in the State Center for the Arts (Ceart) to integrate it into Parque Morelos.
Finally, the delegation toured the Sacred Heart of Jesus Community Center , where they explored the possibility of collaborating with the State Music System through the Community Culture program.
