Indonesian wushu athlete Seraf Naro Siregar opened up his chances of winning a medal in the men's changquan–daoshu–gunshu combination event at the 2025 World Games after finishing second in the changquan final in Chengdu.
According to the official World Games website, Seraf scored 9,760 points, just 0.040 points behind host Gao Jiushang, who led with 9,800 points.
Singaporean athlete Lim Jowen is in third place with a score of 9.743.
This result provides Seraf with crucial capital to compete in the remaining two events, daoshu and gunshu, which will be held on Friday (August 8th). The scores from these three events will be accumulated to determine the medal winners.
From the women's sector, Tasya Ayu Puspa Dewi ranked fifth in the nandao number in the nanquan–nandao combination with a score of 9.653.
