Serbia U-21 coach Marijana Boricic said it was not easy to adapt to the new format of the Women's U-21 World Volleyball Championship.
In this edition, the World Volleyball Federation (FIVB) is using a new format, increasing the number of participating countries to 24. With this new format, Boricic said, his players must play a total of nine matches over 11 days to reach the final. This makes it quite difficult to manage the players' energy, stamina, and physical condition.
"It's not easy to play nine games in 11 days. So it's not easy for any team," Boricic.
