Servando Salazar: a year missing, justice is still unknown, and the truth remains hidden.

Tijuana, August 22.—A year ago, Servando Salazar Cano, the maintenance manager who joined Prime Wheel but never left, disappeared. Cano was last seen at the maquiladora, which produces car rims, during work hours in the Chilpancingo neighborhood of Tijuana.

According to information provided by his partner, Wendy Bravo, the 35-year-old worker was allegedly asked to file a report about missing materials, which led to his disappearance.

The State Attorney General's Office has maintained from the outset that Salazar Cano did not leave the industrial plant. As part of the investigation, authorities found traces of blood in one of the company's restrooms, although three weeks after the disappearance, Wendy Bravo stated on social media that analysis revealed the blood belonged to two men, although it has not yet been confirmed whether one of them is her husband.

The investigation extended to the company's furnace area, where Servando worked as maintenance manager. Specialized Units prosecutor Alejandro López Reyes explained that the inspection of this equipment was delayed because it operates at extreme temperatures of 1,400 degrees Fahrenheit (760 degrees Celsius) and took nearly four days to cool sufficiently for investigators to access.
