A recent survey conducted by Populix, titled "How People Enjoy Podcasts in Daily Life," revealed the interesting fact that Indonesians actually prefer podcasts or podcasts in video format over those packaged in audio format.
The survey, which involved 1,100 respondents from Indonesia, showed that 54 percent of them preferred video podcast content , while only 7 percent accessed audio podcasts , while the remaining 39 percent accessed both audio and video podcast content.
In a press release in Jakarta on Thursday, Populix's Head of Policy and Social Research, Vivi Zabkie, further explained her findings that the average podcast listener listens two to three times a week.
"Most listeners tend to find 30 to 60 minutes to be the perfect length. This indicates the long attention span of podcast listeners and presents an opportunity for content exploration for creators in Indonesia," said Vivi.
