Tamaulipas, almost 200 years as a federal entity

 

Tijuana, June 22.- On February 7, 1824, the country joined the Federation. On its coat of arms, the sea, animals, and the oil field symbolize the fishing and livestock industries and the potential of hydrocarbons. 

In the Senate, the people of Tamaulipas are represented by: María Guadalupe Covarrubias Cervantes (Morena), Américo Villarreal Anaya (Morena), Ismael García Cabeza de Vaca (PAN).
