The Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) deployed logistical aid to Gaza residents on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia.

The Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), through the Garuda Merah Putih-II Task Force, successfully landed logistical aid using the airdrop method , or dropped from an aircraft, for residents in the Gaza Strip, Palestine, right on the occasion of the 80th Indonesian Independence Day celebrations.

"This success is a historic achievement, as well as a special gift coinciding with the commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia," said the Head of the Defense Information Bureau of the Secretariat General of the Ministry of Defense Brigadier General Frega Wenas Inkiriwang.

Frega explained that the delivery of logistical aid was thanks to cooperation between the Indonesian National Armed Forces , the Ministry of Foreign Affairs , and the National Alms Agency .

In this mission, he said, the TNI deployed two C-130J Super Hercules aircraft to carry logistics in the form of food, medicine and clothing.
