Tottenham Hotspur have snatched the transfer of RB Leipzig star Xavi Simons from their London rivals Chelsea in a dramatic move ahead of the summer transfer window closing.

According to Sky Sports, the Blues had previously agreed personal terms with Simons for over a month, with RB Leipzig demanding a transfer fee of around 60-70 million euros.
However, Chelsea's negotiations have been hampered by the need to wait for the sale of players such as Christopher Nkunku to AC Milan and Nicolas Jackson first, opening the door for Tottenham to step in.
