Tijuana, June 14. Two years after the murder of cosplayer Juan Enrique Verduzco Bojórquez, known to his followers as "Kike Cosplay ," the prosecutor specializing in crimes against life, Miguel Ángel Gaxiola, reported that the case has been brought to court and two arrest warrants have been issued against the alleged perpetrators.
Gaxiola stated that the State Attorney General's Office (FGE) is working with the family of the 25-year-old man murdered on June 13, 2022, in the Loma Bonita neighborhood to comply with the arrest warrants for the alleged murderers .
“Kike Cosplay” was a young man who paid homage to different characters from the world of anime and video games, and had followers all over Mexico on social media.
After his murder, the family organized various demonstrations to demand justice and even offered a reward of 500,000 pesos to anyone who offered information about the identity of those who took their son's life.
