Tijuana, August 29.- The Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC) opened yesterday on its Mexicali campus the exhibition "Science and Art. How to Bring Order to the Kaleidoscope of the World." This interactive exhibit developed in collaboration with Universum, the UNAM Science Museum, seeks to break down the barriers between the two disciplines.
The exhibition, located in the Rubén García Benavides Art Gallery, invites us to reflect on the intersections between scientific research and artistic expression through three thematic sections that address everything from the functioning of the senses to shared aesthetic principles.
During the inauguration, the vice-rector of the Mexicali campus, Jesús Adolfo Soto Curiel, emphasized that the proposal represents an exercise in connecting seemingly distant disciplines that share essential elements.
