With protest, they demand the appearance of a Prime Wheel employee

Tijuana, August 26. Family, friends, and colleagues of Servando Salazar Cano held a demonstration at the entrance to the Prime Wheel maquiladora to demand an investigation into his whereabouts. He has not been seen since Friday, August 23, the day he was at the company.

While the protest was taking place, agents and experts from the State Attorney General's Office ( FGE ) arrived at the factory to begin the investigation, so work activities had to be suspended.

Authorities asked the complainants to clear the entrance to begin the investigation, but they refused to do so until Wendy Bravo , Salazar Cano's wife, intervened.

Bravo reported that, contrary to some reports, her husband has not been found . There is also no sign of a body at the facility, so the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo) was not requested.

He emphasized that a search warrant was not necessary for the company to open its doors to prosecutor's office personnel.

Salazar Cano, 35, was last seen inside the maquiladora at 1:09 p.m. Security cameras captured his entry, but not his exit. His vehicle was left in the parking lot.

The plant has another exit, but it leads to a hill that is difficult to navigate. The cell phone of the worker, who has been in the maintenance area for 10 years, was found in Santa Anita Plaza at 1:49 p.m., and it is unknown how it got there.
