Twelve top MotoGP racers are confirmed to take part in a parade in Mataram City, West Nusa Tenggara Province on October 1.
Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA) Director Priandhi Satria said the racer parade was held a day before the MotoGP event at the Mandalika Circuit on October 3-5.
"We are always ready for the race on our circuit. We just need to ensure the safety of the racers participating in the parade in Mataram City," he said after attending a preparatory meeting for the 2025 MotoGP event led by NTB Governor Lalu Muhamad Iqbal, NTB Deputy Governor Indah Dhamayanti Putri, and several related agencies in Mataram on Monday.
The riders who will take part in the parade in Mataram City are Francesco Bagnaia, Fabio Quartaro, Marco Bezzecchi, Luca Marini, Maverick Vinales, Alex Marquez, Brad Binder, Miguel Oliviera, Raul Fernandes, Franco Morbidelli, Fabio Di Giannantonio, and Somkiat Chantra.
"We still hope Marc Marquez can take part in this parade around Mataram City," he said.
The parade route will start from Sangkareang Park on Pejanggik Street and end at Teras Udayana on Udayana Street in Mataram City.
