The Palestinian president asserted that "Israel has not adhered to the agreements signed with it and has deliberately undermined them." He emphasized "the need to immediately stop the war in Gaza, allow aid into the area, stop the use of starvation as a weapon, and halt the attacks and settlement and annexation plans in the West Bank."

He added, "Seven million Palestinians are still suffering the bitterness of displacement since 1948, and our people are living under occupation, settlement, and theft of their money and land."
